Clove essential oil

Clove essential oil, from the Eugenia caryophyllata plant, is a very powerful antiseptic, analgesic, promotes sleep and soothes toothaches. Fights flatulence and stomach and abdominal pain, diarrhea and infections of the digestive tract. It can also be used to stimulate memory and overcome states of exhaustion. Antiseptic, it is used in aromatherapy for the purification of ambient air, for fumigation in case of upper respiratory tract infections. Antiviral, it has effects against herpes Simplex viruses, capable of blocking viral transmission. Analgesic, used to soothe toothaches in case of tooth decay. Better if it is diluted so as not to irritate the mucous membranes, with a small soaked cotton pad it exerts an effective localized anesthetic action, antispasmodic of smooth muscles, indicated in case of abdominal pain (bloating, intestinal cramps), muscle spasms. Diluted in a vegetable oil, the essential oil of clove, massaged on the stomach or on the muscle band to be treated, infuses a beneficial and pain-relieving heat.

COSMETIC USE AND PRACTICAL ADVICE :

• Environmental diffusion : 5 drops of essential oil in a special burner to disinfect the environment, in the event of the appearance of the first flu viruses.
• Rinse lotion : 3 drops dissolved in a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to pour into a glass of water, with a disinfectant and healing action on the gums.
• Internal use : in case of abdominal pain, spasms and colds, take after the main meals, on a full stomach, two drops of essential oil mixed with a teaspoon of honey, twice a day.
• Massage oil : 1 to 2 drops of essential oil in a spoonful of vegetable oil to massage on the stomach in case of intestinal spasms or on sore muscles. It provides a pleasant heat that penetrates deep and releases tension.

WARNINGS : It can cause an irritant effect on the skin and mucous membranes at low doses and hepatotoxicity at higher doses. Use is not recommended in cases of dermatitis, gastric and intestinal inflammation. Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Contraindicated in children under 5 years of age
