Tarragon essential oil

Tarragon, a spice derived from Artemisia dracunculus, has digestive, purifying and antiseptic properties. It is beneficial for relieving menstrual pain, arthritis and rheumatoid pain. Used as a natural antiseptic, it also helps treat sore throats and mouth inflammations. Tarragon promotes body cleansing by stimulating diuresis and can help combat loss of appetite.

COSMETIC USE AND PRACTICAL ADVICE:

• Environmental diffusion : 1 drop for each square meter of the environment in which it is diffused, using an essential oil burner, helps eliminate insects and purify the air.
• Gargle lotion : in a glass of water at room temperature put 6 drops of tarragon essential oil, against inflammations of the mouth, for sore throats and toothaches.
• Abdominal massage : to combat menstrual pain and digestive problems, it is useful to massage the abdominal area with 2 drops of tarragon o.e. combined with a spoonful of sweet almond oil.

WARNINGS : For external use only. Tarragon can easily generate allergic reactions in individuals sensitive to herbs and flowers belonging to the Asteraceae family and in particular to members of this family such as: chrysanthemums, marigolds, daisies, ragweed and many others. Avoid the use of this essential oil in case of pregnancy and breastfeeding and in children under 5 years old.
